This couple knows how to do it right.  They had an intimate lakeside wedding on Friday and then a celebration of their marriage the following evening with friends and family.  I was honored to photograph this event for this sweet, sweet couple!

We have our hands full, with Eloise, these days.  She is SO close to walking on her own it is going to be any day now.  I pulled my camera out for 5 minutes this morning and she went from

climbing the stairs,

to re-arranging the magazines,

to pushing around the grocery cart.  That is until Finn decided it looked to fun not to try it himself.

Dads- Family Portrait Ideas in Austin, TX

We were out of town this weekend so I haven't had a chance to post a Father's Day post until now.  I am so lucky to have my husband in our lives.  He is a wonderful father to our kids.   Finn & Eloise's faces light up when he walks in the room and then a shrieking of "Daddy!!" follows.   Lately, it has been an afternoon regular for us to all take a dip in the pool after work.  You can see the pure happiness in their faces!

Finn spends the majority of his time jumping off the side and swimming to daddy.  Eloise can't decide if being in or out of the pool is more fun.

Cake Smash - Austin, TX Top Baby Photographer

Eloise turned 1 six weeks ago.  In the last six weeks I have tried to do this cake smash four times!  The 1st she had a raging ear infection, the 2nd time I made the cake with egg whites and it fell apart coming out of the pan, the 3rd it poured down rain all day and there was no natural light to be found. The cake went into the freezer, because I was not making it again, and came back out for a final attempt.  I am so glad I did not give up because I absolutely love these photos.   As I was editing them, I was crying, as it made me realize how much she has grown and what a big girl I have.   Love this little girl with all my heart!!!

Natural - McKinney, TX Family Portrait Photographer

This little gal is a natural at climbing, posing & just being naturally beautiful.  Her parents aren't bad at those things either. :) We met for a session at Chestnut Square in historical downtown McKinney.  I highly suggest a visit to this cute suburb of Dallas.  The restored houses around downtown are beautiful, and the night life, I can say from experience, is tons of fun.  Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Brothers - Waco, TX Children Portrait Photography

Because my parents live in Waco I have the opportunity to travel north, from time to time, to photograph clients.  I had a great time getting to know these adorable boys and had fun catching up with their mom.  Their landscaping was gorgeous and she does all her own gardening!  I was very impressed, and it made for a great background for these two cute brothers.

 I told myself, and the mama, that I wouldn't be able to edit these pictures till next week.  But I couldn't help myself!  I have 2 out of town photo sessions this weekend, so I used that excuse to edit these great pictures vs. packing.  It was definitely more fun!  Hope you enjoy them too. :)
