Precious - New Born Baby Photographer Austin, Texas

I had the honor of photographing this family pre baby, here, and then again when this little guy was just twelve days old.   His mom was so great to feed him multiple times so we could get so many great sleeping baby shots.  I love so many of these photos, and how could I not with this precious, precious little boy!

Happenings - Austin, TX Lifestyle Photography

Finn wakes up every morning with the same question "Where are we going today??"  I try to get him excited about doing things around the house, but his constant "Can we go somewhere, pleeeeeaaaase?" keeps us on the go.  Below are photos that I have taken over the last week or so around the house and out and about.  I guess I don't have any of us at HEB or Target which are our most frequent outings. :-)

Finn and I have matching Pumas.  We think we are pretty cute!

Eloise has started to see the fun in coloring,

and gets a big reaction out of all of us when she starts to take a step.

We took dad (John) on his first trip to the Austin zoo,

And to an early evening treat at the snow cone stand.

Flashdance! Austin Children Photography

Eloise woke up from a, oh so short, 30 minute nap this afternoon.  She has been a hand full lately; to say the least.  She sits, most of the time, right at my feet begging to be picked up and looses it if I walk out of the room.  While Finn was still snoozing I decided to bring out the camera.  Here is representation of me walking out of the room to get my camera.

So. Yesterday I bought Finn and I new tennis shoes.  When I got home with them Finn made us both put them on and jump up and down.  Eloise, observing, decides she wants to give it a try too.  Low and behold her "jumping" is standing up on her own for the first time.  I got her to repeat the act this afternoon by, of course, jumping up and down.  She even took a little step!

My hope is that once this little girl gets up and going she will realize that there are a lot more fun things to do than sit at mamas feet. :-)

Cool - Austin Family Photographer

I had the privilege of photographing this cool family!  They have a great dynamic and you can see from the photos their love for joking around and just being real. 

The whole family, especially the kids,  has formed a special bond with this gal who came all the way from Australia to live with their family.

Troopers | Austin, TX Children Photographer

This photo session means so much to me because these little guys and their mom traveled FAR for these shots!  They are from South Carolina, visiting family in Dallas and drove to Austin for the afternoon for their session.  And, of course, it started raining.  There was nothing we could do but keep going and you would have never guessed it.   These boys were fabulous!! I was hiding my camera under my shirt in between shots and they were smiling, laughing and not even caring.  Little brother turned nine months that day and his big brother is three.   They are exactly the same age difference apart as my kids.  So fun!  There are so many great photos; the sneak peak was tough to narrow down.  Enjoy!
