Eloise is officially a walker and my life is officially easier!!  She is 16 months old today and it has been a fun week with her exploring life a few feet taller.  I put a gallery of photos from the three year olds party this weekend on Facebook but wanted to post a few favorites here.

Grandchildren- Extended family Photo Session Austin, TX

It has been a crazy end of the summer for us.  We have been so lucky to be surrounded by friends and family this month.  Today, is the first day, I am not kidding, of August that I don't have a guest in my home or am a guest in someone else's.   Guess it is time for us to get back into the swing of things as a family.

Here are a few of the photos, that my sister and I orchestrated, for an anniversary present for my parents.   They have been married for 43 years; a huge accomplishment these days.  I couldn't have more respect for them and am humbled by their love and commitment to one another.  Thanks for being an amazing example, wonderful parents and grandparents too!

It was a hot night on South Congress but not as hot as these two!  So glad you guys came in town.   Love the photos and digging the sun flare!

Cousins- Family photos Austin, TX

I love the summer for the reason that my sister and I were "late night chatting on the phone" last Saturday evening and we brought up the fact that we hadn't seen each other in way too long.  She said, "We don't have anything going on this week; how about I bring the kids to Austin on Monday?"  Perfect!! We had so much fun hanging with the cousins.  *Lesson learned though; two 3 year old boys can NOT have a sleep over in the same room quit yet. :-)

We are missing the youngest cousin, Eloise, from these photos.  She had already gone to bed.  Fun for us moms with 4 swimming kids; sad not to get all 5 in the photo.  We will try again in a few weeks because we get to see them again!

Vacation - Texas Hill Country Family Photography

We didn't go far but for us it was our summer vacation! A week in the hill country included swimming, playing in the river, golf cart rides, antiquing, late nights, and good, good times with my wonderful family and best friends.  Can't wait to do it again next summer!
