Just in time for Christmas- Austin, TX Newborn Photography
This family and I had all sorts of connections. They are from my hometown, Longview, but we hadn't met before. A neighbor here in Austin and a old high school friend, on different occasions, mentioned they were looking for a newborn photographer and I am so glad it all fell into place. It was fun playing the "do you know so and so game." Not only did we have a great newborn session but I also got lots of big brother playing his favorite all time sport, baseball, while little sister was being fed.
It was great meeting you "R" family and your sweet family!

Green- Family Photographer Austin, TX
We met for a mini session for family photos and I ended up getting lots of great ones of the girls as well. I absolutely love the brightness of these images, and am green with envy of the twin's dresses! Enjoy!

Preschool Christmas Program- Christmas Photographer Austin, TX
Last night Finn had his Christmas Program for his preschool. He was so cute and so excited to be performing with all of his friends. Eloise was just as thrilled to be there and dancing along to the music.
On another note (hehe), I have LOTS of sessions to post on the blog but am keeping them under wraps (another great pun) until all of the Christmas cards and Christmas presents have been delivered. December has been a really fun month. I have had the opportunity to work with great people and shoot lots of different types of sessions. There are just two more sessions left next week and 2010 will be done. :)
Now on to the photos; the first few are in his classroom before they went into the sanctuary. Finn wanted his little sis to sit and color with his class, love!

We're Back!! Austin Family Photographer
We are back from Mexico and it was truly a wonderful trip. Like any professional photographer I strap on 1000's of dollars worth of equipment for the trip to mexico and then realized I had no power - I forgot my battery plugged up to the wall at home......urhhhh!! My husband was very patient to run all over DFW airport searching for a camera store. At the same time my brother was sending me texts of terminals that housed electronic stores that MIGHT have a battery that would work with a Mark II 5D Canon Camera - highly unlikely - we found none. I, also in my quest to get my battery, found out that Mexico does not allow used electronics to be shipped into their country. I boarded the plane in tears that I wouldn't be able to take ONE photo of our trip. However; it was amazing, I got to relax and not think about my "job" one bit. We got back last night and my mom returned the kids today. Tonight, after their bath, I dressed them in Christmas PJs so that I could finally use my camera and supercharged battery and snap a few shots...
This one is super grainy, but John had just walked in from work, and I loved that I captured the moment that they both ran and hugged their daddy!
