Not one but two!! Austin, TX twin baby photography

I was THRILLED at how well this session went.  It was my first newborn twin photo session and I was a bit nervous.  But the babies, and the parents, did awesome!  And with a little work, a few feedings, a lot of peeing, and a sound machine we finally got them both to fall asleep at the same time.  There are both beautiful photos of the twins together and then each one on their own.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peak, there are LOTS more for the gallery!

Austin's Arctic Blast! Texas Family Photographer

The title is straight from the weatherman's mouth and it really made me giggle this morning.

Finn woke us up freaking out that it was snowing and asking if it was Christmas! Which is funny in itself, because it didn't snow on Christmas, but that is what he sees in all his books and tv shows.  We all bundled up to go out and play in the inch of snow before it melted away this afternoon.  Eloise didn't know what it was, and lasted about 2 minutes, before crying and wanting to go back inside.  Finn on the other hand, thought that his front loader and bull dozer needed to haul all the snow in the backyard "to the dump".  We were so glad to finally get something fun to play in after the 3 days of temperature in the teens.  Now, bring that spring weather back. :)

I was so excited to get our year in review,12"x12" coffee table book in the mail!  The kids have had a blast looking through the pages and remembering it all.  I think Finn took an hour going over page by page with his aunt and Gigi!

Little Lady! Austin, TX Newborn Baby Photographer

I have photographed so many newborn boys over the past year it was fun pulling out all of my girly props, bows & blankets to take along for the session.  Her room was so cute and girly, girl; it was easy getting lots of great images of her in her very own room.  This mom and I have a lot of the same taste, because what I brought along for the photos went along great with her room and style.

And... I have a great goal for her next photo session.  She has this precious lamb rocker in her room that I can't wait to photograph her on when she gets a little bit bigger. :)   I loved these images and hope you guys do too!
