Here are the first photos, from the first family, of the Dallas mini sessions last weekend.  We had such a great time and got some amazing images to boot!  Thanks for being patient everyone!  We got way more images than I possibly could have imagined in a morning.  More to come soon!  :)

Urban cuties! {Rockwall, TX Children Photographer}

I have to admit I am a bit bias on how cute these kids are!  They are my nieces and nephew! :)   I love that we got so many great images of them, in the short amount of time we had.  We did their  photography session in downtown Rockwall.  The sky's were so scary that my sister was walking around with her iphone, waiting for the "tornado app" to go off.  Thank goodness, there was not a tornado, but we did have to make a mad dash back to the car when the rain began to fall. The "urban", downtown photos is a shout back to their past, living in New York City. :) I posted this photo a few days ago from their session too. We are going to take some cousin photos of all the kids together next month!

Captured Moments- Lifestyle Family & Newborn Photography

Alright, I am back to this session... I struggled to decide which images I wanted to post for this "sneak peak".  There are SO many!  This began as a newborn session with a 7.5 week old.  Then the mom contacted me that her parent's were in from Russia and she would love to add them to the mix.  I loved this session because everyone was so involved!  When mom was feeding the baby, I was hanging out with big brother.  Then the baby was passed off to his grandmother, and she soothed and comforted him like nothing I had ever seen, while daddy & big brother took a coloring break. This was a true lifestyle photography session because I walked from room to room capturing moments as they happened. The grandparents did not speak any English, so I really couldn't give them "posing" instructions, even if I wanted too. :)   I can't wait to get you your entire gallery, P family, because I am in love with so many of the images that we captured that day.

Happy half birthday to my big 4.5 year old!  To celebrate the day we took Finn to his first movie in the theater; RIO in 3D.  He LOVED it!! And I can say I thought it was pretty darn cute too.  Can't believe my little guy is 4.5.. love that we have a family tradition of celebrating halves!

Come Clown Around with Us! Austin, TX Birthday Party Photographer

This year for Eloise's 2nd birthday we decided to do a carnival themed party.  My great friend, Maura, and I had lots of fun planning it out and setting it all up.  I think the kids all had a blast!  (Adults too!) I also couldn't have done it without all the help of my family...you guys rock!!

At the party there were different "carnival stations" set up for the kids to win prizes. When they walked in the door they got a prize bag to store all of their winnings in.  And then Doodle Bug the Clown made her appearance.  She did face painting and balloon animals, which was amazing!

We had popcorn bags set up for snacking on.

Cotton Candy was the party favor and the photo on the right was our center pieces.

I also had a "photo booth" set up where kids could win a prize by taking a picture dressed up as a clown.  I mailed the photos out in the Thank you notes for the parents.

It was a great party, fun was definitely had by all, including me...

Eleven Weeks- Baby Photography Austin, TX

This little guy was perfect! He smiled, stood, put up with our multiple outfit changes, and even took a little snooze in the front yard.   I am so glad we got to capture all the stages of his 11 week old life.  I loved this session; hope you do too!
