"White" I heart faces photo challenge | Austin, TX Newborn Photographer

This weeks I heart faces photo challenge is the use of white in a color portrait.  Looking back through my sessions I loved the white in this photo.  It comes out in the chairs in the back, the swaddle wrapped around the baby and in the reflection on the table.  Great challenge this week!

Look how much he has changed in four months!  Baby H is 8 months old and his momma told me she wanted to capture him in all his awesomeness.  I sure think that we did!  I love return clients, it is such a  compliment, and so fun to see how much they have grown.   This family is so much fun and I was excited big brother got to join us this time.  Enjoy!

Kindergarten- Kid Portraits in Austin, TX

To see these girls going off to kindergarten is like seeing my own!  I seriously shed a few tears while editing these photos.  Geez, I am tearing up right now starting to type.  As I was editing them I was thinking how much they have changed and how they look like school girls and no longer little kids.  Good luck my beautiful babies Monday morning, and good luck to their momma on letting them go! :)

I really, really can't believe that this little guy is 1 year old!!  I love this family, and am so glad I have had the opportunity to document so many of the fun, memorable times in their lives.  Now... on to Baby Jude's cake smash. The first photo his mama ordered an 11x16 canvas print for his room.  It comes in this week and I can't wait to get my hands on it!!

back to school for the adrians! lifestyle portraits austin, tx

Today was back to school for my family! The kids both got 2" cut off their hair yesterday in preparation for the big day. (Yes, my son's hair was that long.) The kids were super excited, and didn't mind at all the random photo shoot in our front yard before heading off to Hyde Park.  Finn is in pre-k and Eloise is in the, big girl, 2 year old class.  They had a great day and I was alone in my house for the first time in 3 months.  I would say it was a success all around!
