The Baptism of Henry- Austin, TX Baby Portraits

I was honored to be asked to photograph the family, and the Baptism, of this special little guy.  We got so many great photos of the family, parents & godparents.  I am keeping the family photos under wraps, because they will be used for Christmas cards.  And YES, it is that time of year to have portraits made for the Holidays!

You will be seeing a lot less on the blog over the next few months as I work hard to get all of my clients their galleries and holiday cards!  I have a couple of spots left if you still haven't booked yours!

A touch of sun, photo challenge - Austin, Tx Children Portraits

This week's iheartfaces photo challenge is "A touch of Sun".  You usually see a lot of sun flares, in this category, but I decided to see this challenge in a different light (hehe).  I am entering this image of my son from last spring.  I took this photo the day I was taking all of his preschool's spring portraits.  I loved the sun light bouncing off of his curls, that is making him glow. :)

Capital of Texas and a 9 Month Old! Austin, TX Photographer

There are so many reasons, why this is the perfect spot for this little gal & her family's nine month photo session.  One, this is where her sweet mom works, and two, this was the location of their engagement photos!  We even captured an awesome family photo on the same bench. :)  I love when families are up for photos around town.  We have an amazing city, that is absolutely beautiful to photograph.   I can't say thanks enough to my return clients, and I am excited to see this family again for her ONE year portraits, & cake smash, in a few months!

Gift, Austin, TX Newborn & Child Photographer

The cool thing about this session was it was given to them as a gift!  What an awesome newborn present, don't you think?  They were sweet as can be, and excited to photograph their almost 3 week old baby girl and her big brother.  (Don't you love his hair by the way?) It is always a pleasure getting to meet and photograph new families!
